Our History
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church was founded in 1950 and incorporated in 1951.

Its sanctuary at the corner of Bird and Le Jeune Roads in Coral Gables was dedicated in 1955. Its national affiliation has changed over the decades as various Lutheran bodies have merged, and today it is part of the Florida-Bahamas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
